Andreas RohlandTeam

Andreas Rohland grew up in Esslingen near Stuttgart.

He studied law at the University of Potsdam from 2011 to 2016, specialising in commercial, tax and environmental criminal law. He has worked as a student assistant and later as a research assistant at a boutique law firm in Berlin since the beginning of his studies.

As part of his legal clerkship at the Berlin Court of Appeal, he worked for the research service of the German Bundestag, a law firm in Berlin specialising in commercial and criminal tax law, and a department of the Berlin public prosecutor’s office for commercial criminal law, among others.

After his second state examination, he worked as a lawyer at a law firm in Berlin specialising in commercial and tax criminal law. There he advised clients in several ‘cum/ex’ cases, assisted companies in internal investigations and successfully represented numerous clients in cases involving offences arising from a company’s crisis, e.g. insolvency and accounting offences. Another focus of his work is labour criminal law.

In 2022, he successfully completed the specialist lawyer course in criminal law. He has been with DANCKERT BÄRLEIN & PARTNER since February 2023, and became a salary partner in January 2024.
