Michael Nitschke
Michael Nitschke was born in Aachen in 1953 and grew up in Berlin.
He studied law and economics at the Freie Universität Berlin and completed his first and second state exam as well as his legal apprenticeship in Berlin. He has been working as a lawyer since 1986 and was certified a specialist lawyer for criminal law in 2001.
Since 2002 he has served as an examiner for the first and second state exams of Berlin and Brandenburg, where he has chaired one of the examination boards since 2005. In addition, he is chairman of one of the commissions for the European Bar admission examination.
Apart from English and French, he also speaks Turkish.
Throughout his legal career, he has founded several law firms of his own. After initially working in various fields of law, he has now specialised in criminal defence for almost 20 years. In January 2019 he joined the law firm DANCKERT BÄRLEIN & PARTNER.
